My Blog - Scott Monthie

 -9 this morning. Madeline and I drove to Sun Prairie to get Starbucks. Yes there is a Starbucks in Stoughton but she wanted to come to Sun Prairie. We had a little breakfast along with our excellent but expensive coffee. How soon until Spring?

 It was a good Thanksgiving. I am grateful for my new job. It is going well so far. I still miss Harry. I am grateful for my family and all of our blessings. Hopefully Xmas does not drive me crazy this year lol. 

 Time does help but I will never forget Harry. I think of him daily. Seeing his pictures and videos does help. Captain has joined our family and already brought us much joy. Losing a cat early sucks. 

 We said goodbye to our sweet Little Man Harry today. I am devastated. My heart is broken. He was one of the few who loved me unconditionally.  You will always be with me and I hope time can help because this hurts bad. When I see you again you owe me a head but. I love you Harry Monthie and will love you forever. 

 Stunned to learn the news that Carl Azuz is leaving his job as the host of CNN10. His puns and energy were amazing. You will be missed Carl. 

 I've had six days of training for my new job. My classroom is overall ready. Getting to know the staff. I feel so much happier at this new job so far. I will not miss teaching Science. I've given up on the Brewers. Ready for football season.  We continue to binge watch Chuck. Great show. 

 I finally got around to watching the tv show Chuck and can I just say that it is awesome!!! If you have watched the show you should get the joke. 

 I feel summer slipping away. I've been going to school to get ready for my new job.  Molly also has a new job at a Mexican restaurant in town. So far she likes it. Jen and I bought a spare fridge that should hopefully be in tomorrow. I continue to work on my second book.

 We are at the end of July. I love summer and of course never want it to end, but I am excited about getting back to work. I'm also excited about Packer football. I hope everyone is having a great summer!!!!

 Started moving into my new classroom. Molly helped me take stuff today. I feel like it is my first year of teaching all over again! Very excited!!!!!! 

 Having a smoothie with Maddie at beans n creme. She has her temps and is currently picking on me because I told her I have a blog. 

 Returned from our long trip from Washington D.C.  Finally saw the Spy Museum and Monticello. We had a great time but are exhausted. This was my fourth visit to D.C.  We also saw Top Gun 2 with Molly even though I had seen it before. 

 Got the call today that I'm teaching in Madison this fall. I'm very excited about that. So long Sun Prairie. It was an interesting 20 years. 

 The hunt for a new job continues. It is exciting and scary at the same time. We are getting glimpses of warm weather but wish I wish it would be more consistent. Then again no more snow would be a good thing. 

 Went and saw Batman with Molly. It was really good. My favorite Batman to date. Molly really enjoyed it as well. 

 No school tomorrow. We are apparently getting a big ice storm. It is rare when they announce no school the night before. I'm looking forward to sleeping in and drinking coffee tomorrow. 

 There are no words to describe how excited I am for a change at work. I will miss my team but it is definitely time for a change. I like that we are getting done early as well. Bring on summer!!!!! My movie room is also coming along nicely. 

 Winter break is ending. I just want May to get here. Very excited about leaving my current school. The coronavirus needs to be over. Will the Packers win a super bowl? Will Rodgers be back next year? Only time will tell.
